Parachutes are cloth that fill with air when it has a person or heavy object attached to it- it descends slowly ensuring that you don't get hurt. This is the literal meaning- let's explore another!

Parachutes are people who guide us in the ways they can(sustenance, education, mental support, etc). We must have come across many parachutes in our lives...

Let's take a look at some of them:

  • Teachers: They instill good values in us; they correct us when we are wrong and appreciate us when we do well. They handle many students and listen to each and every one of them(which is very difficult indeed) ... they do it all with a smile.

  • Cleaners: They ensure that our surroundings are clean enough to walk through. It is a very noble profession indeed! Without them and their willingness to clean, the world would be a very different place: dirty, dismantled, messy, etc.

  • People close to us: They range from friends to family(they have no other option- but how well they do it matters more ). They shower us with love, compassion, mental support, wants, etc.

  • Unknown parachutes: There are people who work behind the scenes to protect us and ensure that we lead good lives...even if they don't know us. Who knows, we may also be someone's parachute...and it is better to be anonymous- the beauty lies there.

The list is endless(doctors, lawyers, officers, electricians, police officers, etc). I may have missed out many, but I acknowledge whoever I missed!

All I want to say is a huge, loud and sincere THANK YOU to all my parachutes(the known and unknown)... I hope to be like you one day, as a ray of hope to others...

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!💖

Warm Regards To All,

Medha
