Resilience is the power to spring back into right shape after a difficult situation.

It is a life skill needed in most situations. It would be necessary in situations like:

  • Depression

  • After war

  • Failure

  • Loss

  • Split up

Let me explain the title. Here, resilience is being compared to the process of rebuilding a demolished building. In order to rebuild it, the right materials and people are needed. If it is difficult to rebuild it all by ourselves, let's take help from others(but let's always remember that, we are the architects of our own buildings- we need to design it all by ourselves)! If the bricks fall of again, what's the big deal? Put it back in place! If we feel the need to change the materials, let's do that! It will take time, but the result will be amazing!

There are many ways to overcome failure:

#1 Remember that no emotion is permanent

Eg. Edna failed her Mathematics test, she had cried for the whole day- but the next day, she pretended as if nothing had happened and worked hard not to get the same result for the next test.

#2 You are a strong person and you will overcome such negative emotion.

#3 Nothing will be gained when we sit idle thinking about the past, work on the present instead.

Warmest Regards,

Medha
