We all are different from each other(sometimes similar): in personality, lifestyle, culture, likes, dislikes, beliefs, etc.
A belief is something (real or not) that we have faith in (religion, justice, good deeds, etc.). It tends to give us satisfaction when we profess it or follow its laws.
We all believe in different things; sometimes we may not be able to accept the others' beliefs, but it's always important to respect each others' beliefs and thoughts(regardless of how we feel about them) and remember this:
There is no right or wrong... it's all what we think:
Right is considered as a word or deed that makes us feel good and overrules our conscience(most of the time).
Rights must be based on facts and experiences
Wrong is considered as a word or deed that causes hard feelings and a guilty conscience.
It's okay to believe in something... as long as it doesn't negatively affect ourselves and/others.
We mustn't always think that our beliefs are right and others are wrong or vice versa. As mentioned earlier, there is no right or wrong- it's all just our mindset, all the norms we've been taught, the situation we were/are in.
One thing that we can have complete faith in is... SCIENCE! Let's try to base our beliefs, norms and rights on scientific knowledge.
Warmest Regards,
Medha
