Day 47: Tick tock tick tock.... watch the clock

Time management- the ability to finish a set of tasks within a given/limited time period- is an essential skill which is necessary in everyday life(schoolwork, office work, goals, etc).

Some might be experts in it, while others need a bit more of improvement.


Additional Qualities We Develop Along With Time Management


- Focus

When we get a deadline for completing a particular task, we tend to put our sweat and blood into it without bothering about anything else unless and until we finish it.


- Efficiency

When we get used to working with a deadline, we will get used to working in a particular manner and get better results than before since we will be accustomed to working with a time limit.


How To Practice Time Management?


#1 Keep small deadlines as a start... and increase it as you get used to it

It's always important to start small, so try keeping time limits for small tasks(cleaning a space(not very small though)); and eventually when we get used to it, we can give deadlines for greater tasks(homework, chores, etc)


#2 Set aside any distractions that can extend your work

Distractions are always so frustrating(especially when we fall prey to it). We need to discover the factors that distract us and find ways to overcome it.


#3 You can do it!

It is possible to develop time management as long we put our heart and soul in it along with hard work and dedication.




Note: We needn't be so time bound or follow time management at all times(only when it is needed)- let's take it slow sometimes...
