Hope is the feeling or expectation that a particular thing will happen. It is also something that we can look forward to
How Hope Helps
#1 Alleviates emotions such as stress and anxiety
When we hope for things to happen, we sometimes tend to just focus on it and ignore the negativity, which reduces stress, anxiety, worry, pain, etc.
#2 Having something to cling on to/a source of strength
When we have nothing else to hold on to and feelings of despair creep over us, we can at least hope for the best- this gives us some strength to face even the worst of situations.
#3 Makes even the worst of things bearable
When we are hopeful that good will happen even in times of bad (but let's always prepare for the worst so that we will be able to face difficult situations )
Note: Hope is good- but we mustn't hope in such a way that we will be devastated when the things go as planned/hopes... sometimes let's just expect the unexpected.
How To Develop A Sense Of Hopefulness During Times Of Despair
#1 Every state of mind is temporary(either joy or sorrow) so there is no point in feeling overjoyed, depressed or overworked.
#2 Dreams give us hope... so never stop dreaming
#3 You can be a ray of hope for someone else
Warmest Regards,
