We all tend to make many goals and aims for us to follow- which is great, but sometimes we may procrastinate or show the I'll do it later attitude and we don't. This is very normal and it's okay to procrastinate at times- but it mustn't develop into a habit.

Why Goals Are Important

#1 Source Of Motivation

When we set a goal and see it in our bucket list, we draw our attention(motivation) to it until we accomplish it- this stimulates our desire to accomplish the goals we have set.

#2 Focus

We will be focused in the goal and not let anything distract us.

#3 Self-evaluation

It is important for us to know ourselves. Goals can speak volumes about us: how focused we are, our capabilities, the type of goals that suit us, likes, dislikes, etc.

There is no use of just setting goals and not bothering them- if we set a goal, we must put our heart and soul in accomplishing it it and also use it to ourselves.

Things To Remember When Setting Goals

#1 Set Goals That You Can Accomplish

Goals mustn't be a hindrance to our physical and mental health- it mustn't also require too less effort. It must be something in our capabilities and something that we can do at our own pace.

#2 Appreciate/Reward Yourself When You Accomplish A Goal

This is another form of motivation. When we reward ourselves, we will be proud of our efforts and will want to set more goals.

#3 You Can Do It!

If we repeat this phrase over and over again, we gain confidence in ourselves and abilities, which drives us to accomplish the goals we have set.

Good Luck On Your Goals!

Warmest Regards,

Medha
