"These passions that intrigue you- what are they worth?"
"They are worth my happiness and love!"
"Why would you like to pursue something ever so barbaric?"
"It is my deepest desire and yearning..."
"Blimey! The door is left open ajar."
"You can close it."
"Are you aware that our conversation has turned many heads to the front door?"
"Indeed I am."
"Are you not ashamed, you immodest little knave?"
"There is no need to be."
"Such fervour isn't meant for you."
"Why not?"
"Give me a proper answer, you... Do what's asked of you."
"Simon talks to you in this very manner- yet you silence."
"Not another word from your filthy, disgraceful mouth; you are dismissed!"
Midnight. The silhouette of a girl, with a suitcase on either hand and a train ticket popping out of her satchel, formed on the garden shed.
So beautifully written...
Looking forward to more from you
Thank you so much. Christina Rossetti was my muse when I wrote this...
