In this world, nobody is good or bad; we're all the same- but there is one thing that distinguishes us: the fact that we all open our packages at different times and in different ways.
There may have been a phase in your lives when you believed that you were the best; you must've felt the worst at another stage. These contrasting ideas clearly suggest that we are the ones who decide our lives, emotions, motives, aims- no one else can.
Here are a few tips which I use to improve my self-esteem whenever it is low:
#1 I look at the mirror, take a look at that troubled face and tell myself: you look better when you're happy (I seriously get frightened by that distressed face!).
#2 I follow my mother's advice: don't be overjoyed at the happiest stages or too melancholic at the worst phases.
#3 Don't bother when others try to judge you (good or bad), but take the beneficial bit from them- they may have a point.
#4 Choose your friends wisely: the ones who stay by your side in good times and bad, reacting in the same way.
