Day 9: Deceitful Appearances

"Good-looking people" are given most of the attention, respect and popularity- not many individuals look at the others who may not be as attractive as them. I don't seem to understand! This is an issue in many places including schools, workplaces, societies, residential areas.

Let's take "Beauty And The Beast" as an example. The Beast was quite unpleasant in both appearance and behaviour- but Gaston was quite good-looking and jovial... until the climax. We get to see their true colours at this point: the Beast is willing to sacrifice his life to save Belle, while Gaston plots to kill him and take Belle for himself- but good usually wins in the end!

All I want to convey is that we shouldn't show our stereotypes on someone's physical appearance (try to stop thinking as well).

Let's step into the future now. Hold on tight!

There may be machines that change everyone's perspective on beauty, sight, insight and much more- machines that can help us understand what different types of people think about and perhaps why!

Let's not wait for the machines- let's start now.
